In the summer of 2024, the Undocumented Student Support Services (USSS) officially established the UndocScholars Learning Community (ULC) to create a space where students can explore their undocumented experience and address their needs through assistance and services.

The goal of this ULC is to empower undocumented students and address their needs through assistance and services. “Some of us are social justice scholars … [We] want to help and advocate for people and make [USSS] a safe space where different students and faculty — not just from LMU — but all other schools can ask questions,” stated Mary Awofodu, accounting major and member of the policy education and advocacy department for USSS.
